Wild Bunch Wildlife Rehabilitation is devoted to helping native Virginia wildlife by providing hands-on care for sick, injured and orphaned animals; by educating the public to prevent or resolve wildlife problems, and by operating a refuge for animal care and release.
We treat upwards of 700 animals every year, including eagles, owls, hawks, skunks, raccoons, foxes, squirrels, opossums, turtles, water birds and songbirds. It costs approximately $1,000 to treat, care for, rehabilitate and release a fox that has been hit by a car.
Your donations fund the proper caging for our many different species that find our way to our center; the specialized food and medical care they need to be made whole again; and the attention of dedicated, professional volunteers who give these wild creatures the best possible care and opportunity to live a wild life once again.
Wild Bunch Wildlife Rehabilitation receives no state, federal or other government funding. We rely entirely on the donations from members of our community who appreciate that there is somewhere for injured and sick wildlife to find a safe place to recuperate and recover before being returned to their rightful place in the wild.
Help us preserve our native Virginia wildlife - and give them a second chance at a wild life!
